Dr. Ravinder Atkar is a highly qualified dermatologist who consults on all aspects of skin disease. Her NHS practice is at Barts Health NHS Trusts. She ranked in the top 5% for her medical degree, achieved First Class Honours for her BSc, and then went on to complete her dermatology training at Cambridge University Hospitals. Following this, she undertook an observership in paediatric dermatology at Stanford University Hospitals, San Francisco.

Dr. Atkar is actively involved in research, resulting in three national awards. She has been an author on multiple publications in high-impact medical journals and co-authored the national guidelines for vitiligo. She has tutored medical students at Cambridge University and continues to pursue her passion for medical education. She values her role as a spokesperson for the British Skin Foundation.
