Dr Ruth Conroy is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in urological cancers, particularly prostate cancer and urothelial malignancies. Her practice includes radical and palliative radiotherapy and systemic anticancer treatment.

Her treatment interests include stereotactic radiotherapy, hormone therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies. She works within multidisciplinary teams when planning and coordinating cancer care.

Dr Conroy graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2005. She gained international clinical experience while working in Australia during 2013 and 2014.

Alongside clinical practice, she is Clinical Lead for Recruitment into Clinical Oncology for the Royal College of Radiologists. She completed an MSc in Medical Education in 2022 and has an interest in the use of new technologies and treatments in urological cancer care.
