Dr Sadat Edroos is a consultant interventional cardiologist and lead for interventional cardiology at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital. His clinical practice includes the assessment of coronary artery disease, chest pain, angina, high blood pressure and palpitations.
He trained and worked at interventional cardiology centres in the UK, Ireland and Canada before taking up his current post. His clinical and research interests centre on interventional cardiology.
Dr Edroos completed research training in Leicester, investigating cardioprotection under the supervision of a former British Heart Foundation medical director. This work received national awards from the National Institute for Health Research and led to a PhD. He continues to publish and present his research internationally.
He is deputy lead for the Foundation Programme at Luton and Dunstable and supervises resident doctors and cardiology registrars. He contributes to teaching University College London medical students and undertook medical education training at the University of Cambridge.
