Dr Sarah Davies is a Consultant in Musculoskeletal, Sport and Exercise Medicine, with specialist interests in Sports Medicine and Dance Medicine. She has extensive expertise in managing all types of musculoskeletal injuries, including those related to sports, dance, and occupational trauma.

Dr Davies has had a distinguished career, working with British Athletics at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympics and Paralympics. From 2012 to 2017, she served as the Chief Medical Officer for ParaShooting and the Paralympic Medical Officer for British Athletics at the English Institute of Sport. In 2017, she expanded her practice by joining the Royal Ballet School in Covent Garden, London, where she treats young dancers, helping to optimise their performance despite stress and strain injuries and illnesses.

Her journey into understanding disorders of movement began while undertaking a Master’s degree in Classical Acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She completed her specialist medical training in Sport and Exercise Medicine in 2012, by which time her focus was firmly on joint and musculoskeletal preservation. Dr Davies has published work within the field of Sport and Exercise Medicine (SEM) and is an examiner for the membership exam for the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine (FSEM UK).

Dr Davies offers a range of medical tests and treatments, including video and telephone consultations, home chemotherapy, and management of musculoskeletal pain syndromes. She is proficient in treating conditions such as osteoarthritis, sports injuries, and has a particular interest in dance and performing arts medicine.

Appointed as a consultant in 2012, Dr Davies continues to contribute significantly to her field, combining her medical expertise with a passion for helping athletes and performers achieve their best.
