Dr Shefali Rajpopat is a Consultant Dermatologist at Barts Health NHS Trust in London. She also practices privately at London Bridge Hospital (The Shard and 120 Old Broad Street) and The Holly Private Hospital. Dr Rajpopat specialises in all aspects of skin disease, including mole checks, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, and eczema.

Dr Shefali graduated with Honours from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Medical School in 1999. She completed her dermatology training at Barts Health, The Royal Free Hospital, and St John's Institute of Dermatology. In 2010, she was appointed Honorary Consultant in Dermatology at Barts Health NHS Trust and Clinical Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University London.

Dr Rajpopat has a keen interest in skin cancer and serves as the skin cancer lead at her hospital. She handles urgent skin cancer referrals and collaborates within a multidisciplinary team. Her clinical work is complemented by her active involvement in research and medical education. She received a research grant from the British Skin Foundation and was awarded an MD (Res) for her research into harlequin ichthyosis and genetic skin disease.

Dr Shefali holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education and is the course director for the international Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology at QMUL. She also plays an active role in undergraduate teaching and has numerous peer-reviewed publications.
