Dr Stephen Keddie is a consultant neurologist at Barts Health NHS Trust and became neuromuscular departmental lead in 2026. His practice covers general neurology and disorders of peripheral nerves and muscles.

At Newham University Hospital, he sees patients with symptoms including headache, pain, dizziness and blackouts. His specialist clinic at the Royal London Hospital treats conditions including chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, Guillain-Barré syndrome and motor neurone disease.

Dr Keddie qualified at Newcastle University and completed specialist neurology training at the Royal Free, Queen Square, St Bartholomew's and the Royal London Hospital. He undertook a PhD in neuroimmunology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and the University of Oxford.

He works with the haematology team at St Bartholomew's to manage neurological complications of blood disorders and treatments, including CAR-T therapy and stem cell transplantation. His publications focus on neuropathy, inflammatory and immune nerve disorders, haematological disease and novel treatments.
