Dr Sukh Chatu is a highly experienced clinician specialising in gastroenterology, hepatology, and general medicine. He serves as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at King’s College Hospital and holds the position of Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at King’s College London. Dr Chatu completed his medical training at the prestigious St Bartholomews and Royal London Medical School in 2000, followed by a five-year specialist training programme in Gastroenterology & General Medicine at London Deanery.
Dr Chatu has a wealth of experience, having worked in various London hospitals and spent a year in Brisbane, Australia, to gain additional clinical expertise. He also completed a three-year full-time higher research degree, earning an M.D. Research at the University of London. His research has been published in numerous high-quality, peer-reviewed international journals, and he has received a Medical Research Council grant. Dr Chatu is also the author of the successful textbook ‘Hands-on Guide to Clinical Pharmacology’.
In his clinical practice, Dr Chatu is known for his down-to-earth and friendly approach.
