He has extensive experience in treating patients of all ages, including adults and children with traumatic injuries and chronic foot and ankle disorders.
Mr Hester graduated with distinction from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine after completing a first-class BSc (Hons) at University College London. He later gained an MSc (Hons) from the University of Brighton before completing higher orthopaedic training on the South East London Training Rotation. His clinical expertise includes the management of sports injuries, ankle fractures, ligament injuries, cartilage damage, Achilles tendon disorders, bunions, heel pain and diabetic foot conditions. He performs a wide range of procedures, including minimally invasive (arthroscopic) foot and ankle surgery, ligament reconstruction, bunion surgery, tendon repair and complex trauma reconstruction, with a focus on restoring mobility and enabling patients to return to their normal activities as quickly and safely as possible.

He is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at King’s College London, has published widely in orthopaedic surgery and contributes to undergraduate and postgraduate training.
