Mr William Grant is a highly experienced Consultant ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) Surgeon, currently practising at Charing Cross Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals in London. He qualified from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1984 and subsequently completed a registrar training programme in Dublin. Mr Grant furthered his expertise by obtaining a Masters Degree in Surgery (MCh) in London, followed by Senior Registrar Training at the Royal Free and Royal Surrey County Hospitals.

In 1996, Mr Grant was appointed as a Consultant ENT Surgeon with a special interest in Rhinology and Head and Neck Surgery at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. He returned to London in 2001 to take up his current posts. As Clinical Lead for ENT, he played a pivotal role in amalgamating the ENT Departments at Charing Cross and St Mary's Hospitals, forming the Imperial College Hospitals NHS Trust ENT Department in 2009, a role he held until 2011.

Mr Grant is renowned for his surgical skills, particularly in laser techniques for head and neck surgery, honed at the prestigious Laser Centre of University College London Hospital. His clinical practice is complemented by a strong focus on research, particularly in sinus surgery applications and endoscopic anterior skull base surgery.

Mr Grant is dedicated to treating both adult and paediatric patients with a wide range of ENT and salivary gland disorders. His areas of expertise include nasal and sinus surgery, paediatric ENT surgery, and collaborative work in endoscopic anterior skull base surgery. He has also contributed to the development of the endoscopic anterior skull base programme at Charing Cross and collaborates with craniofacial plastic and oculoplastic surgeons at Chelsea and Westminster. Additionally, he has participated in international medical missions with the Facing the World Charity, operating on complex cases in Vietnam.

Mr Grant's extensive training and experience enable him to perform a variety of procedures, including ear, nose, and throat surgery, paediatric ENT surgery, sinus surgery, septoplasty, septorhinoplasty, and endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery. He is particularly interested in rhinology and septal and rhinoplasty surgery.

Appointed as a consultant in 2001, Mr Grant continues to provide exceptional care and innovative treatments to his patients, ensuring the highest standards of medical practice in the field of ENT surgery.
