Dr Farah is a highly qualified and experienced consultant in rheumatology and general internal medicine. He completed his undergraduate medical training at University College London (UCL), where he received a BSc in Physiology with first-class honours and a medical degree with distinction. He further honed his expertise through postgraduate medical and rheumatology training across North and West London at leading institutions, including Imperial College Trust, Northwick Park Hospital, and Royal London Hospital.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Farah is deeply involved in medical education. He holds a postgraduate degree in medical education from the Royal College of Physicians and UCL. He is the lead for undergraduate rheumatology training for Imperial University students at Northwick Park Hospital. Dr Farah has published over 25 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at more than 20 national and international medical conferences.
Dr Farah is committed to providing excellent, holistic, and compassionate care to his patients, ensuring that his approach is both evidence-based and effective. He believes in forming partnerships with his patients based on respect, honesty, and accountability. Patient feedback consistently highlights his caring nature, good listening skills, and excellent communication.
In his NHS role, Dr Farah runs a dedicated early inflammatory arthritis clinic at Northwick Park Hospital, alongside his general rheumatology clinics. He also manages inpatients with complex medical presentations and leads a team of doctors in the Emergency Ambulatory Care unit. In recognition of his outstanding patient care, Dr Farah received a Clinical Excellence Award in 2020.
Dr Farah also sees patients privately at The Chiswick Medical Centre. His areas of expertise include early inflammatory arthritis, general rheumatology, and complex medical presentations. He has been serving in his current roles since his appointment in 2020.
