  • What are the common symptoms that your patients tend to present with?

Patients tend to present with either acute musculoskeletal injuries or with chronic ongoing pain secondary to overuse or with symptoms particularly of osteoarthritis or chronic low back pain.

  • What are the treatments that you're able to offer your patients?

I use point-of-care diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound available to me in clinic as an imaging modality to diagnose common musculoskeletal pathology. My particular interests are in the non-surgical management of osteoarthritis including injection in the endurance athletes and, in particular, exercise-associated leg pain. I've also got a particular interest in female athletes and in metabolic bone health and the associations of oestrogen and Vitamin D in health and performance.
