    Dr Clive Archer is a distinguished NHS Consultant in Dermatology at the St John's Institute of Dermatology and Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. He also serves as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at King's College London. Dr Archer has been with the St John's Institute of Dermatology since 2010, following his tenure as a Consultant Dermatologist and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Bristol from 1989 to 2010.

    Dr Archer specialises in treating a wide range of skin disorders, including general dermatology, hair loss (alopecia), and nail diseases. He is highly experienced, with over 200 clinical and research publications and four books to his name. His research has focused on immuno-pharmacological cell regulatory mechanisms in atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, as well as the epidemiology of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer.

    Dr Archer performs various procedures such as cryotherapy, cyst excision, dermoscopy, and skin cancer surgery. He treats conditions like acne, alopecia, eczema, fungal infections, and skin cancers. He is also involved in medical education, teaching medical students and general practitioners. Dr Archer's interests extend to medical law, and he is an avid sportsman, enjoying golf, tennis, and real tennis.
