Mr Maneesh Ghei is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Whittington Hospital, Archway, London. He serves as the Lead Cancer Clinician for the Urology Department and chairs the multidisciplinary meetings. His areas of expertise include minimally invasive urology, complex endourology, and the treatment of kidney stones.
Mr Ghei obtained his primary medical qualification in 1993 from Maharishi Dayanand University in India, where he also completed his general surgery residency. He then pursued further medical training at the University of London, UK, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed his specialist training in urology in South Wales, where he also accomplished a fellowship in the treatment of urological stone disease and laparoscopy. Additionally, he holds a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Urol).
Mr Ghei is deeply involved in research and education. He is globally renowned for leading a research trial focused on treating overactive bladders. He also mentors a PhD student investigating targeted and focal therapies, as well as cryotherapy in prostate cancer.
A passionate supporter and fundraiser for prostate cancer, Mr Ghei actively participates in the Movember campaign each year.
