    Dr Olga Kapellou is a consultant paediatrician and neonatologist based at Homerton Hospital. She also runs general paediatric clinics and baby follow-up clinics at the Portland Hospital, Harley Street, and The Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth. Dr Kapellou offers her patients comprehensive care, including baby checks, assistance with feeding problems, colic, excessive crying, food aversion, food allergies, breathing problems, constipation, diarrhoea, and frequent infections. In her outpatient clinics, she utilises the Griffiths Neurodevelopmental Scales to monitor infant development. Additionally, she is a certified Neonatal Life Support instructor and a breastfeeding specialist, certified by UNICEF.

    Dr Kapellou received her training at several major London hospitals, including Great Ormond Street and University College London. She has particular expertise in preterm and term neonatal brain injury, as well as the follow-up of babies after complicated pregnancies and births. After qualifying in 1995, she conducted significant research on the impact of preterm birth on brain growth and development, with her work being widely cited in the medical community.

    In 2009, Dr Kapellou was appointed as a consultant at Homerton Hospital. She began working at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth in 2010 and later joined the Portland Hospital for Women and Children. Dr Kapellou is a fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
