Dr Siamak Arami is a Consultant Haematologist at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, where he has been serving since 2015. He is also an honorary senior clinical lecturer in haematology at Imperial College London. Dr Arami has a distinguished career, having previously worked as a consultant haematologist at Kings College Hospital in London. His areas of expertise include leukaemia and myeloproliferative disorders, and he has a keen interest in digital health technology.
Dr Arami qualified in Medicine in 2000 and conducted immunology research at the Royal Free Hospital, London, focusing on primary immunodeficiency syndromes under a World Health Organisation program. He specialised in haematology at St Mary’s Hospital London and the Northern Deanery, earning his membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2008 and the Royal College of Pathologists in 2013.
Dr Arami is the lead for myeloproliferative disorders and chronic myeloid leukaemia at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. He has been an investigator in numerous national and international trials, contributing to practice-changing research published in peer-reviewed journals and national haematology guidelines. His clinical interests include the management of patients with leukaemia, myeloproliferative disorders, and the integration of digital health solutions in patient care.
Outside of his professional life, Dr Arami enjoys playing tennis, travelling, organising cancer charity events, and spending time with his family. His dedication to both his patients and his research makes him a highly respected figure in the field of haematology.
