    An experienced Orthopaedic & Trauma surgeon with a special interest in hip and knee replacements, Mr Steve Millington serves as a consultant at Barts Health NHS Trust. He also works at the Royal London and Newham University Hospital, where he is the clinical lead for the Trauma & Orthopaedic department. He provides specialist care in primary and revision hip and knee replacement, arthroscopic knee surgery including cartilage repair, transplantation and ligament reconstruction, musculoskeletal tumour surgery and general orthopaedic trauma. Having been a competitive rugby player at an elite level, he also treats sports injuries affecting the knee, and is an expert in the management of broken bones.

    Mr Millington completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) from the University of Nottingham in 1998. He has broad international experience, having completed his PhD and several prestigious specialist fellowships at leading centres in the UK, USA, Austria and Australia. He also speaks German fluently and is happy to consult in German when necessary.
