Institute of Sport Exercise and Health
About me
The Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health (ISEH) is recognised as an international centre of excellence for world-class sports and exercise medicine. It is acknowledged for its excellence in diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of sports injuries bridging the gap between elite sport and recreational physical activity. The institute helps professional athletes, including olympians, reach peak physical fitness, and it also supports recreational and amateur athletes to achieve their personal performance goals.
The ISEH is a collaboration between leading health, sports and academic organisations – UCLH, UCL, British Olympic Association, English Institute of Sport and private hospital group HCA - which work together to provide the level of patient care and clinical expertise only previously available to elite sportspersons.
The ISEH, which opened in June 2013, is one of only three locations forming the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine (NCSEM), a major legacy project of the 2012 London Olympic Games. It also delivers world class teaching, training and research in sport and exercise medicine.
